Jared Cohen

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mr. Cohen is a seasoned systems engineer, architect, and strategic management consultant with twenty years of experience dealing with information security as it relates to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, U.S. Federal Agencies, and Commercial Industries. He has performed broad range, systems engineering and strategy consulting support in the Information Technology and Assurance arena, and concentrated on issues concerning the development of the Global Information Operating Environments, IT Efficiencies strategies and technologies, Enterprise Level Operational Capabilities, and information sharing architectures, as well as Mission Management, Cyber Defense, and other operating and implementation models and capabilities. Before consolidating firms with Nine Points Solutions (formally Responsive Consulting Services), Mr. Cohen worked at other well-respected consulting and technology firms, such as Booz Allen Hamilton, The Windermere Group/Windermere Information Technology Systems, and SPARTA, Inc. He has a B.S. In Computer and Information Systems from Towson University.

Jessica Smith

SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Ms. Smith has spent her career developing creative and effective graphics materials based on original materials from client specifications, some of which were clearly defined and some that allowed for designer discretion. Ms. Smith possesses over twenty years of professional experience in the graphic design field including branding and identity development, presentations, proposals, brochures, graphic illustrations, website development and management, HTML newsletters, marketing and outreach material. She specializes in informational graphics, multimedia products that integrate text, computer graphics, conventional art, photographs, videos and customer specific graphics that convey customers’ messages. In areas that require original material, Ms. Smith works with customers to collect and articulate specific tasks and directions so either she or another designer can easily execute. She designs, and develops custom graphics and artwork, generates layouts, facilitates production in both print and electronic/interactive formats for Information Assurance, Technical Infrastructure Engineering Projects, Intelligence Projects and Activities including marketing and outreach brochures, animated presentations, exhibits, and displays. Before coming to Nine Points Solutions, Ms. Smith ran her own small graphic design firm, worked for Abraxas Corporation and General Dynamics Information Technology. She has a B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute, College of Art with a focus on Graphic Design.

Julie Schott

SENIOR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Schott specializes in designing, developing, and deploying multi-tier software systems in various Commercial Industries. Ms. Schott has worked in the Storage, Networking, Test Equipment, PC, and Health Care software sectors prior to joining the Nine Points Solutions team. In addition, she has strong communication skills, and extensive experience in technical education and customer interface documentation. Ms. Schott has worked at and led teams within industry leading hardware and software firms such as Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu, Maxtor, LSI Logic, Cisco, and AllScripts. Specific areas of concentration include ontology/taxonomy, XML and object-oriented model development, and project and vendor management. Ms. Schott is passionate about delivering performant solutions based upon Model Driven Architecture and Model Driven Development engineering. Ms. Schott has a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University.

Nick Selimis

SENIOR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

Mr. Selimis is an experienced systems engineer, and ISSO, ISSE, cyber security professional with over 20 years of experience dealing with information security as it relates to the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. He has extensive ISSO and ISSE professional experience developing, engineering, integrating, penetration testing, evaluating/reengineering, and operating complex global enterprise class information sharing and cyber defense solutions. Mr. Selimis has performed a broad range of Cyber and Information Assurance Support with a concentration on Cross Domain Solutions, System Development, Penetration testing, Information Sharing, Mission Management, Global Information Grid, IC ITE, and other operating and implementation models. He is considered an expert in DoD Cross Domain systems development and has participated, managed, and lead multi million-dollar software development efforts, from requirements to integration. Before coming to Nine Points Solutions, Mr. Selimis was a technical team leader for several consulting and technology firms, such as Booz Allen Hamilton, The Windermere Group/Windermere Information Technology Systems, Essex Corporation, and Northrup Grumman. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Engineering Leadership Development from Penn State University, State College.

Susan Joseph

SENIOR PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

Ms. Joseph is a highly motivated, results oriented, self-starting leader with over 25 years experience in the Cybersecurity industry with a focus on identity and access management. She specializes in leadership, strategic, and analytical assessments which combined with her excellent technical writing, oral communication and presentation  she uses to reinforce her strong background in security architectures, public key infrastructures (PKI), enterprise security policies, access control, secure communications, systems engineering, and project management. Ms. Joseph has authored numerous technical papers relating to Cybersecurity. Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and presentation skills. Ms. Joseph has a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics with an Emphasis in software engineering from Purdue University and an M.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in communication networks from Johns Hopkins University. She is also CISSP certified.

David O. Barrow

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

Mr. Barrow specializes in providing design, development engineering, programming support and customization of applications in a Web environment. Every solution he creates is built to ensure all of his customer’s specifications and requirements are met in the most effective manner while enhancing their daily business and operational duties. He carefully analyzes functional business applications and design specification for functional activities and contributes his expertise to the customer and team to propose clear, concise, technically correct concepts that exceed expectations with a highly optimized user experience, visual design and documentation. Trained in information architecture, infrastructure support, usability assessments, user interface design and graphical support, he helps customers develop, create, modify and maintain vivid and usable custom and enterprise applications in a web environment. He has a B.S. in Computer Technology from Bowie State University.
